I created a 1-minute dialogue .wav file using Soundtrack Pro. When I try to import it into Muvizu using Prepare Dialogue, I get the following error message:

"There was an error importing the audio file. The file is in an unknown format."

I reformatted the file using Quicktime Player, again as a .wav file, but again received the same error message. The audio file has a .wav extension and plays in Windows Media Player, VLC, and Quicktime Player.

Has anyone else had this problem? Found a solution?

Thanks,
Darren

Hello Darren,

This has been known to happen with some MP3s and .wav files - but it has been a bit unpredictable.

Could you send it to bugs@muvizu.com along with a brief message (a copy of your forum post would be great).

What I would suggest is downloading Audacity and use it to open then save your .wav file - most of the people in the office use Audacity so hopefully it should work.

You can get it from:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/windows

Please let us know how you get on.

Take care,
-Jim.
