Hi Wabby,

Just from the error alone it looks like a video driver issue. First thing I would do is make sure my video drivers were up to date. What sort of graphics card is in the other PC? Also, on the other PC, does the application run until you try to load your set in?

Hi,

The fisrt PC runs with a NVidia Quadro FX 580, and the second PC runs withs an ATI Radeon X1800.

I'll try to updating the drivers of the second PC, thanks for your help.

Just a precision : some sets works fine on both PC, so i'm going to make another test because i thinks the problem can be with the characters in the sets (i don't have this problem with sets without character).

I hold you informed...

(sorry for my english, i'm french and i don't speak well your language)

No worries, you speak English better than I speak French.

The X1800 is (I think) the same sort of age as the X1300 which a few people have had problems with.

But, let us know how you get on with it, and if it is specifically character based.

Hello,

So, i confirm : if i delete the characters from the set, there is no problem to open it on the second PC (with the Radeon X1800 GTO). But, if i add news characters, Muvizu crash immediatly. I specify : this problem concern only complex set (with many objects and textures).

I also upgrade my graphic card driver (i'm using Windows XP, SP3). The problem continue.

So... i think about bying a new PC (because i want to finish my current project : MuvizuMan :-) ), but i have to know if there a list of compatible graphic cards with Muvizu ? I want to be sure before spending my money :-)

Thanks again for your help.

ok, after other tests i can tell you that the problem comes from characters (even in an empty set).

With my king of graphic card, Muvizu 0.15 crash when there is too much characters in the set.

Well, i'm gonna buy a new PC with a Geforce GT 320. Hope Muvizu will running correctly :-)

Hi Wabby, the GT320 should be fine. I wouldn't have expected the crash problem with too many characters on the FX 580 though. How many characters are you creating? And do you have any information on the crash?
