Hello everybody ! Cool
A question about the queuing of uploads:
What is the usual delay for the validation of a video uploaded on a Muvizu account?

Hey welcome back, Gimmick!

Version 1.8 Feedback 08.08.2016 Ok, I realise now what you mean by the home and end keys. I think they should keep it how it is, but have an option to change it to cuepoints only.

I'm not getting icons for a lot of them, but I haven't restarted my PC yet so maybe that's it?

I don't have any problems with prepare camera cuts, everything works fine.

Yes, the tie is broken.

Version 1.8 Feedback 08.08.2016 Regarding cue points, you can still use the buttons on the timeline to go to them.
I'll have a go at replicating those other bugs.

Version 1.8 Feedback 08.08.2016 Thanks to the folk at Muvizu for fixing the transparent AVI bug, let's hope it hasn't broken anything else. (See above)
There's still a small bug where the progress of a sound effect in the choose sound effect menu (and maybe the audio menu) isn't displayed correctly.

20 Second Film Competition (Summer theme) Hey guys, just a small update:
Since the transparent AVI bug has been fixed, I've added waves to the beach set:

Not sure how to remove the slight difference between the waves and the water, but I'll provide sets with and without so the winner can choose.
Good luck everyone!

Donald Trump Parody in front of audience You'll want this exporter for the low collision: http://www.rodneyandberty.com/#!downloads/rmmoz
Here are some guides that might help too: http://muvizu.com/Wiki/wiki/143/

Second video, Minions styled characters.... You probably want to render with shadows enabled, but having shadows disabled when you're working on the scene does help.

Blender's FBX exporter works well enough with Muvizu that you can retain the textures - export your model as an OBJ with materials, import into blender, export as FBX (Smoothing set to Faces not Normals) and your model should import into Muvizu with textures intact. Should

Where do you find this Blender setting "Smoothing set to faces?"

There will be an option called "Smoothing" that you need to set to "Faces". I guess it's in the export menu somewhere.

Are the eyes Muvizu eyes or animated textures?

Thanks! The eyes are Animated textures. The muvizu eyes can not come out far enough and are to small.

on a backdrop?

Hey wouldn't it be cool to have a round backdrop, specifically for animating eyes

Uh... you can use the sphere shape and put a texture on it.

I thought that might be the case. The textures are very effective though!

Quadrupeds NEW with only ONE character ! eugenecheese wrote:
Ikes, if you know how to do it for real, then why should Muvizu object to you sharing ?

Because it'll be a method that involves changing some core files to access the building blocks of an upcoming feature. (Which I assume is against the EULA)

They origin from the Hands!

I mean if he stands still, with his hands beside his body, they are beside the real legs, not?

No

The leg, extensions in the hands, are both tilted backwards, NOT straight down.

They're at an angle so they sit behind the normal legs.

that's exactly the one im looking for but it's not showing up in between ground and ambient. just strange havent seen this happen before

That's odd, have you tried:
  • Turning your computer off and on again
  • Re-installing Muvizu

Otherwise it sounds like a bug that support need to look at. http://www.muvizu.com/Support

lost shadow option I'm not sure what you're looking for then.

Took a break from my main muvizu project with a side muvizu project (yep i'm additected now)

Anyway I've somehow lost the shadow option, It's not in it's usual location and i'm definitely a fan of 'realistic shadow mode'

cheers for any feedback

Do you need a specific shadow option? The menu should be in Edit-->Edit environment-->Shadows
