Digimania Show reel I would have to agree. I don't see Muvizu getting to that level of animating anytime in this eon! Would be awesome if it was though. I would pay out some doe for that but it would end up like Muvizu is now stagnant waiting for a major character, animation, asset upgrade, or until Muvizu gives the users the capabilities of creating custom character animations and importing user created characters.

I do wonder at times where Muvizu is heading. sometimes I see an Open Source ending I'm sad to say. God I hope not. But Muvizu is limited to what the developers will let the users use. So with that in mind Muvizu will always be sub par to other animation software, no matter the ease of use is. It's apparent with the fact they didn't use Muvizu for thier show reel. Or maybe I am just being a stick in the mud and have to much time on my hands which means I should be animating instead of posting on the forums lol

Hamster out!

Cannibals Wizaerd, Thanks for the feedback. I see what you are saying and it makes sense. I will have to remember that for future episodes.

Yup Hamster, better vid, good job But are you sure you really want to tell people "let me know if you see something I can improve upon" because, in my experience, there's always something you can improve upon. Usually you'll see it as you're doing it, some you don't spot till it's finished, some you only spot after you think you've finished, and some you don't know about at all until someone points it out to you 6 weeks later... But hey, if you like the feedback we'll keep chipping in, I'm just sayin' is all

Lol Ziggy. You just reminded me of my old high school art teacher. She use to tell us that art is never completed.

But seriously I know I can't please everyone but I believe in order for one to advance their skills they need to know what they need to improve and the only way to do that is to get feedback.. SO lay it on me lol

I'm glad you guys can see improvement. So that should also be a complement to you all as well. That someone is taking what advice you give and putting it to use. So thanks guys and gals

Cannibals Thanks Urban I have thought about some your momma jokes. I have really been studying lighting lately, and was hoping it would show. Also been working on better recording and all that jazz.

Now if I can just iron out the name and stuff, that has been bugging me. Seems I hit a brick wall. But thanks for the feed back

Cannibals Thanks primaveranz. The series will be once a week ranging from knock knock jokes to 3 guys walk into a bar.

So the fluff is added to help make the videos a tad longer than what it would be. I am thinking of maybe two to three jokes per episode. Sort of a variety show feel is what I am aiming for. Still in the works but do have a few skits done and ready.

Thanks for the feed back Prim greatly appreciate it.

Cannibals So here is a little sneak peak at a project I am working on. It's going to be a series of short jokes turned into videos. I can't seem to come up with a good name for it though.

Anyways this one is called Cannibals. Two Cannibals are having a discussion.

As always I welcome your feedback. So please let me know if you see something I can improve upon.

Thanks for watching

Modeling help Thanks Trip appreciate it. Been having trouble with the website lately so didn't get to post that I got a mane. but thanks for taking to time to try to help me out.

timeline closed, character reverts to idle? No your not going crazy. Once you exit out all characters go back to a idle state. So they can be edited or moved or what have you.
You also can click on the actions of your character while in directing mode before pressing record and they will act out the action.

They will keep what ever mood idle is set for them under the character action window. You have two drop down windows one is for character mood. so if you click on for example an angry mood then the character will return to an angry idle state after exiting out of the timeline.

Hope that helps.

Modeling help I have a project I finally get to work on and I am very excited about. As my modeling abilities are those of a slug I am in need of help. So if anyone is up for a challenge here is what I am looking for.

I am in need of a lions mane, to either be attached as a hair piece to the dog (which I think i can get to look like a lion ) or as a mask for a regular character but with the mouth visible so the character can be seen talking if that makes sense.

I tried the Afro hair-do on the dog and got a deranged looking poodle result lol.

I appreciate the help very much and I thank you in advance.

2014/3/2 19:10:52
WHAT? So is targa already installed in Muvizu or do you have to download it? I would look but right now its rendering out a video. Also what advance settings do you or anyone use? Lots of questions i know lol.

this is my pc specs if that has anything to do with anything.
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1
Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 965 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
DirectX Version: DirectX 11 Card name: ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series

WHAT? Thanks Urban I appreciate the feedback. I may go back and redo the lighting if nothing else for learning sake. Right now codecs are giving me a head ache. can't seem to find one that works properly or set it up properly. Xvid always pixelates and the others seem to skip. I have no clue. lol

I have Xvid, FFdshow lag and a couple of others any advice on settings? Or what setting does everyone else use?
2014/3/2 15:32:32
WHAT? So I took the advice given and here is the second take of the short WHAT? I think the sound is better and I added background noise. At least it sound better to me so please let me know if this has improved. The only thing I ddin't do because I totally forgot was add lighting to the scene.
Thanks for the help
