No audio No. I don't have the key frame expansion pack. If I get it, will it make the smile of the character I've chosen look like the one from the old version of Muvizu, with the big closed teeth smile?

I wish I could get the old version of Muvizu back. It was easier to use.

Thanks for the tip about the white shirt.

No audio OK. I will check out your forum when I get home. I just have to post this quickly because I have to get ready for work.

Here are examples of what I mean. This is an example of how I prep the character's smile and of the gray looking shirt that's really supposed to be white:

As you can see I'm still shaky on doing this. So I didn't do it smoothly. However, I think I took all of the correct steps in the end. If not, please let me know what I'm missing.

I want a closed teeth smile at the end like I have in this video:

I can't stand to have the character with an open mouthed smile. It looks maniacal.

So I want:

1. A closed teeth smile.
2. His shirt to look white, not gray.

Thanks!

No audio The site didn't notify me that you sent a response. I just saw it when I came to the forum and clicked on my post.

I've been doing what you mentioned below. I'm going to record my steps and upload the video o YouTube so you can see what I've been doing when I get home from work this evening. Maybe I missed something.

I'm also going to include video I did a few years ago that shows the character with the kind of smile I want but haven't been able to do so far on this newer version of Muvizu.

I'm looking forward to 11/22!

No audio Hi,

I posted a couple more questions about the character's smile and shirt color. Could you help me with those issues?

Thanks,

Need help with character's smile Hi,

How do I make a character smile without his mouth hanging wide open? I would like to see his teeth, but he's smiling so wide that his teeth part and it just looks bad.

Help with this would be appreciated.

Thanks,

No audio It worked! Thanks!

I was missing this part: go to the timeline from the tools tab
Actually, at first I thought this didn't work because I wasn't seeing the audio track. Then I realized I wasn't at the beginning of the timeline - don't know why I wasn't. When I scrolled all the way over, I saw the audio. I'm so happy!

Now I just have to make my character not look so creepy I would like to really learn this program, but boy do you have to have patience.

Thanks again!

No audio Hi,

It looks like shutting the computer down did the trick. It was off all day because I was at work.

Now, I'm getting audio in the direct audio section but I'm not getting any audio in the timeline. I just see the character's name and a solid line of color that represents the character. There is no audio showing.

I used Muvizu about 3 years ago and had no issues with the audio. Yesterday and today I tried following the tutorial for basic dialogue but can't get it to work. I just want my character to sing Happy Birthday. I don't what him to move. I just want him to stand in place and sing without music.

Please tell me the steps you would take to make this happen.

Thanks!

No audio Hi,

I imported a .wav file but there is no sound when I try to play it. I'm using Play + on a PC, running Windows 10, 64 bit.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks,

Muvizu Animator Wanted: For Website Videos I'm looking for someone to create a few short videos for my site - in the range of 20 to 30 seconds. Mainly I need a spokesperson right now. I created one which I'm sure could be enhanced or even changed. I'm open to ideas.

If this works out, I would like to do more videos with supporting cast.

Please respond with rates. Also send samples of your work.

Thanks!

Edit Muvizu AVI files in Sony Vegas Hi Mark,

Thanks for replying.

My roommate downloaded something to convert my AVI files. This allowed me to edit my files in Sony Vegas, and cut the upload time on YouTube down from over 480 minutes to 20 minutes.

I contacted customer service and here's a summary of what they said:

1. Make sure you choose a Codec other than "Uncompressed", since uncompressed AVI files can be massive in size, and can cause issues when they get too big. We recommend "Xvid MPEG-4 Codec" and "Lagarith Lossless Codec", since they tend to have the highest compatibility with other video editing applications.

2.
Download VirtualDub and run your video files through this before putting them through any other video editing applications. VirtualDub is a free and easy-to-use tool which helps you "trim the fat" and generally tidy-up the coding of videos to make them more acceptable for other video editing applications.

Get my character to play drums I contacted customer service and:

primaveranz - They did not send me a link to fix it but they did give me the advice below.

ukBerty - They agreed with the file size issue.

Are you using Muvizu Play+? When I upgraded I couldn't open the avi files in Sony Moviestudio any more. It is a common issue. Report it to the helpdesk and they will send you a link to fix it.
If you are using the free version of Muvizu you probably need to install some codecs.

I'm using Muvizu Play +. I was wondering if it was an upgrade issue. I will contact the help desk. Thanks.

Get my character to play drums Amazing videos! And yet I am having trouble with just one character, hoping some day soon to upgrade to having 2 or more in a scene. Right now though, I can't even get my AVI files to play in Sony Vegas. First time I'm having this issue and can't figure out why. I would call it a night and try again tomorrow, but I've already spent 5 hours on this and would like to see some progress before I turn in for the night.

Sony Vegas won't open Muvizu AVI files Hi,

I posted this on another board, but didn't get any answers. I think this might be the correct board to post it on. I've lost hours with this issue.

I have Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11 and all of a sudden, today, I cannot drag my Muvizu AVI files down to the timeline. I'm getting this message:

I've imported and edited AVI files in Sony Vegas from Muvizu before. Why am I having issues now? I don't recall doing anything differently before.

I switched from Windows Media Player which is real jerky to VLC media player. With VLC I'm getting this message:

Does anyone have any idea what is happening?
