Come and get it! 10 1月 2012 by Muvizu_Admin in Updates Yes, after the festive season's spell of indigestion and a slight hiccup yesterday, today we've released the latest version of Muvizu, or v0.19b as it is affectionately known to us.Hot on the heels of our newly pimped website comes the release that dialogue fans have been anticipating eagerly for rather too long. Muvizu now has multiple audio tracks, so say farewell to shuttling frantically between shush and talk. Another feature worth hitting the sherbet for is the introduction of toon shaders, which give the ability to alter considerably the stylistic look of your Muvizu creations.Under the hood, we've tweaked the Morpheme system to reflect the very best in contemporary animation blending. The characters can now be customised with some visual effects and there are some animations to show the effects off nicely. One little fly in the ointment is the expected implementation of DirectX 11. We ran into some memory overhead problems and a few minor niggles, which we think have now been fixed but which we intend to test further on a variety of hardware. If all goes well, we expect to release another upgrade, with the DirectX 11 implementation, to you in about a month. As usual, you should check the known issues list on the download page and, if you run across an interesting bug during your Muvizu work, drop us a line at bugs@muvizu.com or mention it in the forums; talking to other users may well tip you off to some useful workarounds.Thank you, as always, for your enthusiasm and forbearance; we look forward to seeing what you create with this latest version of Muvizu and its new features. The obligatory image is a picture that the fair Emily sent us from her holiday in Australia, her thoughts at the time are not known to us. However, let us hope it keeps us shipwreck free!Best regards,The Muvizu team
