I am a police officer who has fallen head over heels with the creative process of animation. I teach the GREAT Program which stands for Gang Resistance Education and Training to 5th graders. The goal is to reach the youth in helping them avoid gangs and make better life choices. I have been working on an animated series I am trying to launch for the program called Team Great! I recently completed the first episode for board review and would like to enter it into your contest. Should it win, I will donate the proceeds to the Great Foundation. Hope you enjoy! Even if it does not win, I would still appreciate the support for this project in sharing it with as many people, especially our youth as you can! Thanks and God bless!

Hi GMAN7877... welcome to the forum and thanks for submitting your video to my contest! The first rule of story telling is to write about a topic for which you have some passion... and I'd guess the gang resistance topic is a good one for a police officer! Part of the contest includes a review of each submission by the judges. Their comments are typically geared toward helping others learn from their experience.

I like what I see so far, and I look forward to seeing more from you as time goes on! And please keep us posted on the social implications of your project. It sounds like something worthwhile.
