Remember focus can also be animated if you require the focus to change between foreground and background.
Or you can output one clip with foreground focus and another with background focus then transition between the two clips in a third party editor eg Sony Vegas.

Cheers
D
edited by Dreeko on 14/08/2012

Hengky71,

Unfortunately I don't speak Indonesian either, but hopefully the international language of the JPG will help make things clear for you!

Simply right-click the camera in your Muvizu set, and in the window that opens you then click the drop-down menu beside "Blur Effect" and select "Focus Distance & Depth Of Field" (as highlighted below):

This will then cause two extra options to appear - "Focus Distance" and "Depth Of Field" - which will help you control the sharpness/blur of the foreground/background. A kind of loose guide is that the further you move the "Focus Distance" slider from left to right, you shift the focus from objects closer to the camera to objects further away from the camera. The more you move the "Depth Of Field" slider from left to right, you remove blur from objects closer to the camera to objects further away from the camera. It's a bit more complex than that, but it shouldn't take any more than a wee minute or two of fiddling about to get it how you want it to look!

Hi Hengky,

I was hoping that my point would have made more sense in your native tongue. Oh well.

Unfortunately I don't speak Indonesian. I see what you mean with the tutorial having the blur effect on the background. This is indeed, accomplished with the use of the sliders in the camera menu.

There is no tutorial for this but I can hopefully be of help to you here.

For example: If you wish to have a character in the foreground in focus and the background out of focus then you would have to right click as I said and using the focus and depth of field slider, adjust them to get the desired effect for your movie.

This can take some tweaking but I'm sure you will get the desired outcome.

If you need anymore help then please feel free to get back in touch.

Jim

Hi Jamesriley
Thanks for your Attention and Respon and Your Indonesia language is Good, can you Indonesia speaking?.....
The first Sorry if maybe my Question make you confuse,
but I mean "How to do / Tutorial" making Animation with Background Blur, for example like this : http://www.muvizu.com/Video/17950/Transparent-AVI-in-Muvizu-in-4-easy-steps-Muv
So if your reply same what I mean, you mean is "The Camera on Muvizu have Blur Effect with click Right on camera and just adjust for Effect Blur" that is correct?...

Halo Hengky,

Jim
