Yes, I took them all myself, I also have quite a good compact camera, which makes them look even better.

How to do camera cuts? Click the 'direct' button in the top menu, then click 'camera cuts'.
This should bring up a similar window to the one in the tutorial. The record button has been changed from a clapperboard to a red circle. Now you click the record button, and then click whichever camera you want to record at any time in your movie.
