So as you guys no The lorax came out on Friday March 05 2012. I was making a replica of the original book and short episode. So I need a truffla tree. Can anybody tell me how I can make a custom tree?

Hi Wizplace,

I went onto the google sketchup warehosue and found aTruffla Tree model. I'm not sure if this is what you're doing but if you download it into sketchup and then run it through the Muvizu ASE Exporter you should be able to import it as an object into Muvizu.

Hope that helps.

  • Download this plug-in: http://www.mediafire.com/?5o7hzr1rp4ggtbu
  • Open the zip file up and put the file inside it in your Google Sketchup plugins directory (this should be in a directory like this : C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Google SketchUp 8\Plugins )
  • Download the model through Google Sketchup.
  • In Sketch-up click Plugins and then select the exporter
  • Export the object but make sure you set collision to 'none - muvizu generated collision' or whatever's there that looks like it talks about collision
  • Save the file out as a .ase file
  • Go into Muvizu
  • Click Create Object
  • Click import
  • Find the model that you want to import
  • Click open
  • Leave the settings as they are and click OK.
That should bring the model in looking fine. Hope that helps.

Did you insert HSKP2UNR.rb or HSKP2UNR.zip in the folder?

folder = C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Google SketchUp 8\Plugins
