*Solved* Out off memory on start up *Solved* Hello primaryartemis,

Sorry to hear that you are having problems with Muvizu.
I once had the same problem and tweaking the virtual memory settings solved the problem. So hopefully it will work for you too.

Here are the steps you need to take to tweak your virtual memory.

How to manually change the size of the virtual memory paging file.

You must be logged on as an administrator or as a member of the administrator’s group to complete this procedure. If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may prevent you from completing this procedure.

To manually change the size of virtual memory, follow these steps:

  • Click Start, click Run, type sysdm.cpl in the Open box, and then press ENTER.
  • Click the Advanced tab, and then under Performance click Settings.
  • Click the Advanced tab, and then under Virtual memory click Change.
  • Under Drive , click the drive that contains the paging file that you want to change.
  • Under Paging file size for selected drive, click Custom size, type a new paging file size in megabytes (MB) in the Initial size (MB) or Maximum size (MB) box, and then click Set.
  • Click OK to close the dialogue box and apply changes.

Note: After you change the size of the paging file, you may be prompted to restart Windows. If you are prompted to restart, the changes will not take effect until Windows is restarted.

Note 2: To have Windows select the best paging file size, click System managed size. The recommended minimum size is the same as 1.5 times the RAM on your computer, and 3 times that figure for the maximum size. For example, if you have 256 MB of RAM, the minimum size is 384 MB, and the maximum size is 1152 MB.

Please let us know if you were able to solve this issue.

Kind regards,
Marco

HELP.... GREEN BACKGROUND IN START Ciao,

HELP.... GREEN BACKGROUND IN START Ciao Alessandro,

Mi puoi dire dove la memoria della scheda grafica, 128MB o 256MB?
Muvizu bisogno di un minimo di 256 MB.

Edit: Se possibile, ci mostra uno screenshot del backgroud verde. Grazie.

HELP.... GREEN BACKGROUND IN START Ciao Alessandro,

Il fatto che lo sfondo sia verde, può essere dovuto ai driver della scheda grafica.
Prova ad aggiornare i driver e riprovare.

Muvizu Never creates any icons when i install it Hi Gredd18,

There you go, try running Muvizu in Admin mode and you should be good to go.

But make sure you have your video card driver and the latest DirectX version running.

Muvizu Never creates any icons when i install it Hello again,

What operating system are you using at the moment? Some operating systems requires you to run Muvizu as an administrator.
Also make sure you Direct X version is up to date and the same with your video card.

Direct X Runtime update can be found at:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3

You can get the latest NVIDIA drivers from:
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

ATI drivers from:
http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx

Hope this helps. Let me know if not.

Cheers,

Muvizu Never creates any icons when i install it Hello Gredd18,

Sorry to hear that the problems persist.
I will try to help you on this one. Here are a few things you can try.

1. Try running the launcher to update the client, since we patched Muvizu recently.
2. If you still have the installer, try to uninstall Muvizu and do a new install.
3. Can you check if your computer can run Muvizu? You can see what the requirements are on the download page.

Please keep me posted. Thanks.

Cheers,
Marco

Muvizu Never creates any icons when i install it Hi Gredd18,

You can find the launcher (for updates) and the .exe file in the following folders.
These locations might change, depending on your install options.

For 64-bits operating system:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Muvizu\Binaries

For 32-bits operating system:
C:\Program Files\Muvizu\Binaries

Again, these are the default locations.
Although no icons are created, after the install, you can always create those shortcuts by right-clicking the file and dragging it to your desktop.

Marco

Problem with downloading 0.13 beta Hi Mach,

The current version of Muvizu is 0.14b. If you run the Muvizu's launcher it should update your client to the current version. This version of Muvizu has all the content from the 0.13b version plus some bug fixes.

If you try to download the client from our download page, the dowload should be of 544 MB.
Always try the launcher from time to time, to get the newest updates

Please let us know if you managed to update and run Muvizu without any problems.

Cheers,
Marco

Bug? - lights have gone out Hi Toonarama,

The Lit (lights on) and Unlit (lights off) features are still available in the build 2010.11.29.01R
I remember that in some previous versions this was disabled, but the developers fixed that.

Can you tell us which version of Muvizu are you running?

Cheers,
Marco

EDIT: I just ran a couple of tests and in fact the changes are also applied to the camera view, will need to check if it's as designed or not. If not will go on our to do list. Thanks for the heads up, we're on it

LAG PROBLEMS. Need help quick! Hi raptormarlins,

I'm sorry to hear you are having problems.
One of the things you can try is recording small clips (with smaller sets) and putting them together using the video joiner application.
Please let us know how you are doing.

Cheers,
Marco
