Winter Holiday Film Festival Submission deadline is closed.

And because there was not a submission to the festival, the festival is now canceled.

Winter Holiday Film Festival TMUTheater Invites Muvizu to the:



The winter holidays are approaching fast and to celebrate this time of family and giving back, TMUTheater is hosting a festival of short films which keep the heart of the holidays in the core of their stories.

This is another great opportunity for filmmakers to showcase their talent in their preferred mediums. Make something funny or tragic, a romance or drama. Just keep the spirit of the holidays in the storyline.

Content Guidelines

* Can be made with any visual medium (i.e. stop-motion, animation, machinima, live-action)
* Story needs to have the holidays associated with it.
* Film needs to be made for the festival. No previously made films at this moment, please.
* 1 entry per person.
* No music videos

Video Guidelines

* Minimum 3 minutes in length
* Prefer 16:9 aspect ratio, squared pixels at a maximum 640 in width resolution. (i.e. 640x360 is a squared 16:9 aspect ratio) 4:3 aspect ratio is acceptable but not recommended.
* Maximum of 600mb in filesize.

How to submit?

Simple. Go to www.tmutheater.com (registration not required) and click Submit. Fill out the application (make sure you select the Winter Holiday Film Festival in the Festival Field) and upload your film.

It may be 24-48 hours before you get a confirmation. So please be patient. Thanks!

Please do not upload your film elsewhere until after the festival please.

Deadlines and Times

You have until 11:59pm Wednesday, December 15th US Pacific Standard Time / 3:00am Thursday, December 16th US Eastern Standard Time / 8:00am Thursday, December 16th United Kingdom Time to get your submissions in.

The event will take place on Sunday, December 19th, 2010. There will be two showings. Exact times will be announced when its known how long the festival will be.
