how to import ASE Hey, im new to Muvizu and was just browsing through the forums to absorb as much info as i can so i can get a handle on its limitations and tips and tricks etc before i start my own blockbluster haha.

Came across your excellent tutorial on 3ds Max import to Muvizu without the Active X plugin. To my surprise i think i could help out with some extra (very little) bit of info.

To avoid the shadowed areas and to achieve a completely evenly lit model instead of using omni lights just use one ambient skylight/dome light (most modellers have something like this). Set the colour and intensity to whatever you feel looks best. A white light will be neutral and preserve accurate colour information. This way when you bake the texture the model will be evenly lit from all sides keeping all your finely painted colour information as intended.

I did say it would be a small bit of info but maybe it will help someone who is stuck with a pesky shadow in their texture.
