Good stuff :-) and an impressive T-Rex !

yeah, now you need to show everybody how you built it up around the core character...
(every cool video needs a second video to show how it was done)

note to anybody else who plans to submit something for the end of summer contest:
Clayster has set the bar pretty high! Can you beat this? We want to see what you got!

Ok heres how I did it.

The head you see now isn't the head I used in The end of the chase, Its just a remake prop for this demonstration, I find it more effective to just keframe the head and Jaw, this way the head doesn't bob up and down and shake his brains out, besides it makes look more natural, and keyframing it doesn't take much work at all since the rest is controlled by the core character, much like ikes idea it uses platform but more to the ground, using the oblong from the abstract group I adjust it enough to use it like a track, so instead of walking in place, you can actually moved the character, and you can adjust the attachments to where it covers the core character completely, the video should show you more how Its all done, this was put together real quick like so it wont look as good as it did in the video.

Ok Pat not sure if I'm still eligible to submit an entry, but here's my submission to the contest, its not that long of a video, just something I been working with, it started off kind of long but i just went ahead to the last part, its why I call it The end of the Chase.

oh sorry I been quiet, not been feeling good.

Clayster! I love this video! and of course you're still eligible to submit an entry... contest deadline is Sept 15... over two weeks away!
I'll review all the entries after the contest ends. so I won't say much about it now.

And I know what you mean about being quiet when you aren't feeling well... I'm the same way.

By the way... these T-Rex videos have helped me to realize that people sound like carrots when they're being eaten by T-Rexes ;-)

Here is a short video showing the set that Clayster generously donated to be used as a prize for this contest. At this time I'm not yet sure which winner will get it, but it will be among the prizes which include $50 USD deposited to your paypal account (first prize for the winning entry among the Muvizu Ply Plus entries... and the paid license for whoever wins the free version category

Good video Pat, OK for who ever wins this prize, I left the house empty so it can be decorated the way you want it, all you have to do is lift roof and place your objects, the house is made up of different objects and held together using key frame, you can change the color of the house, and animate the doors, The windows are supposed to be transparent clear, but for some reason it fills up with color, just go in its properties and uncheck visible, for an extra bonus I added a swimming pool, a BBQ pit, and that little red car I used in my last video, so good luck to everyone, and I hope who ever wins will enjoy this set!

I'm very excited , I really like the house , the car also comes bundled ?

Yep and the car can be customized by changing it's color, you can even tint the windows!

Pat Marr's Contest: Entries due by Sept 15 Well I been doing this for a while now, and it seems to be the only way to get two objects to connect together without a mesh collision that makes bounce away from each other, by using the key frame it disables that, and you can connect the objects together, but for every object you must put it in key frame mode and add it's key at the very beginning of the timeline, this will prevent from messing up you objects whenever you start animating anything els, I'm sorry I forgot to mention that it dose require the key frame pack.

20 Second Film Competition (Summer theme) Wow, I didnt expect to win at all, I just wanted to add something, corn dogs is one of my favorite foods, a Winnie on a stick covered. With a cornbread batter,so like a corn kernel that pops when it gets hot enough, not much of a joke, I just done what ever came out of my head, it was a sarcastic thing.

Well Pat I see your starting your own contest, open theme...hmmm you know I might enter, I do have another side project that I just started, it's another Alien Grey episode but it's a little different this time, I gave alien Grey a face lift and redone his saucer, not going into details but I'm not worried about winning, if I do I'll use the prize money for a new processor, yep thinking of upgrading to AMD 290 graphics card.

didn't you just install a new graphics card??

Yes I did, but i got the new Oculus, I thought this would be strong enough, but it requires AMD 290 are greater, so I decided to go ahead and upgrade my processor also.

Tropical birds: test 1 (The Bird the word) Hmmm..yea it seems that without any sockets for Sinister's legs it will be impossible to add any attachments, unless we keep thinking more out of the box, we'll need some Advil for this Job!

Heaven Bound Test Render This was very touching, I lost my dad back in November of 2010, I never got to spend any last moments with him but I wished I did, I never got to tell him how much I loved him before he left, but I know he knows how much I do, this was really good and epic, if you need any help on anything to finish this let me know Bro, this was heart touching to me!

Hi Muvizuers,

Another project I'm working on for an animal character. The basis is Beefy, but without his legs. In this walking example I've used a second standard character with the feet attached, because Beefy doesn't have sockets for his feet. He's walking in place with an animated ground and background. I am still experimenting with it, but I wanted to show what I am working on...

So Clay, maybe this is a work around for the legs for your idea too?

hmm...nice croc, once I put the finishing touches on my tropical birds I'll give that a shot, just want to get some more assets in my sales.

I agree, had a brainstorm last night, made a model, but there's no socket to the legs for attachments.
