Any suggestions on the best codec to use for 1080p rendering? (or 780)

Unless you can live with a 20 second limit on the shots you can make (due to the 2gb limit of AVI files) then TGA sequences are the best way, I would reckon. Works for me at least

yeah 1080 if you like quality but that time limit is the thing. TGA is best but you need a lot of hard drive space. I am actually building a new computer with 3 hard drives and one dedicated to film making to accomodate TGA format. You can eat through 1 terabyte hard drive quickly if your project is more then a couple minutes long
