  • The World Cup is almost here...but whats this thing called an 'assist'? Is this 'passing the ball'...like as in how football has always been played? Or does it take two blokes to put the ball in the back of the net these days?

  • Dylly the Beagle was attacked by a Rottweiler yesterday. Jaws clamped around neck & shaken like damp rag. Lucky to get away with muscle damage. Rotty let go after a size 12 up the jacksie and a smack in the ear from me while it's owner just watched.

    • Police informed...but apparently dog attacks are a civil case. Pity I'm not that civil. I dread holidays when parks look like a Bill Sykes convention is in town!

      I hope Dylly the Beagle is OK, and that the owner of the Rottweiler will be prosecuted.

    • Sorry to hear that Dylly. I once had the same thing happen on a beach but with a Pit Bull terrier. The female owner screamed at me when I dragged her dog into the sea and tried to drown it (it escaped)! I should have dragged her in instead....
