Hi,
I have just tried to reinstall Muvizu on my laptop after reinstalling windows xp on it. I installed .net v4 and C++ etc but when i go to start up Muvizu I get the following error window -

"An error has occurred. Unable to load DLL 'UE3Engine.dll': This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800736B1).

I have reinstalled it several times but each time I get this same error.

Can anyone help please?

Many thanks

hi,
To uninstall a program, you must use an uninstaller CCcleaner type or another, and then clean the registry with the same program. (Use only programs that you're about to control)
Before reinstalling:
make sure you have the latest Windows update, the base 64 has been updated some time ago, and Win NT too, make sure you have the latest graphics drivers released, and the latest version of direct x 11 or 9.

I hope this will be useful

this is for Win 7 64 and this version MuvizuSetupDXDotNetFull_2012.07.16.01R_x64

Hi - thanks for the advice.
I just downloaded cc cleaner and did as you advised - sadly exactly the same thing happened. I'm a little stumped now.
Any ideas anyone>
Thanks again

Make sure your computer and the software is is either a 32 or 64 bit. Click on your My Computer Icon and see what bit you have 32 or 64 and download the correct one. I had problems until I downloaded the right file. CCleaner is the best software out there. Use it after every internet usage. I run mine a couple times a day. Also when you download a new software, always reboot your computer. If you do not have the correct graphics cards you could have problems. My Acer NetBook would not run Muvizu because the graphic card would not support it...

One other thing Mutley - sometimes Muvizu doesn't download correctly in the first place, so it doesn't matter how many times you reinstall it, it will always be broke - download the latest version (just out today!) and try again. Can't hurt

Thanks for the replies - I have checked that I have the correct version - 32 bit so Im not sure what to do now.
I'll keep messing but I really don't know - it used to work on my laptop but not since I reformatted it. At least its working on my Mac so I can still make stuff!
Cheers

Hey Mutley,
I'm getting the exact same error! Running Muvizu partitioned on my Mac. I'll keep trying to fix it and let you know if I come up with anything.
