Epilepsy Scotland - Scotland's voice for epilepsyEpilepsy Scotland, to quote its website, campaigns "for improved healthcare, better information provision and an end to stigma" for those with the condition.

It says: "Nearly 40,000 people living in Scotland have epilepsy. Children and older people are most at risk of developing this common serious neurological condition, but anyone can develop epilepsy at any time – and eight people a day in Scotland do. We want to make sure the needs of people with epilepsy are met."

As part of its mission to urge people to get involved, Epilepsy Scotland is running a competition to create short-form videos in Muvizu 3D.

"The competition is open to anyone in Scotland touched by epilepsy - your own or someone else's," it says on its website. Further details about the competition, which is open until November 1, 2010, may be found here: http://www.epilepsyscotland.org.uk/get_involved/get_involved.htm.

Muvizu - direct, don't animateAll of us here at Muvizu wish Epilepsy Scotland all the best in its work and we look forward to seeing some thought-provoking videos.

Remember that an updated version of Muvizu 3D will be released on June 28, so plenty of time to spare before the competition deadline. The new release will add some post-processing effects, further lighting options, increased memory optimisation and a faster launch time, plus a new mood and a smattering of additional props.
