bad horror movies with people hiding in all the wrong places and not running when they should are apparently Fazz's forte LOL so that would be a place to put the fluffy bunnies. While some of us prefer bad soap operas with overdone plots lines and bad acting and lots of organ suspense music :P

It seems with Superman you'll need the always-present flying scene. How will you handle that? I do wish it were possible to pose characters manually. I was thinking if the developer doesn't want to include that sort of thing in Muvizu, possible they could make available whatever interface or code they use in creating the animation as an external application, use at your own risk or whatever wouldn't matter. Just something to go a little deeper than the default. I'm a total noob with this app so O don't know where they stand on issues like that. I can understand the arguments against it, but allowing it seems like they could capture more serious animator's interests.

I agree, what I wished they would do is supply us with the skeletons for every character so we could animate them the way we need them, and more add on to the characters so we can add more armor to the Beefy guy like BatMan, and it would be nice to have a cape that flaps when flying when sup"s flies through the air, if their was a way to have some kind of wind physics, you know like have a fan model like the do for the lights, so you can place the fans in front of the characters to simulate the cape flapping, also would be crate to use in a storm scene to where the characters are blown away...lol.. i guess I'm just dreaming, but who knows maybe someday someone will figure it out

For Objects there are settings for 'Floats in the air' and 'keep upright' if only those could be included for the characters. Right now I think the best you can get is a camera roll sideways, and export as a layer, add the sky flying by in another channel in a video editor, but the cape, and the feet, are still problems. If you could only make characters stand on their tip toes, and include a fan prop like you mentioned, it would be enough.

as he is using the hero character he could just use the flying action.

Oh man, I totally missed that whole section of the actions. Well that solves it then.

One issue I'm having in the cape doesn't drape properly, it gets bunched up around the character's shoulders a lot of the time. The suggestion about a wind machine prop would still be really useful.

Hey everyone, ok as I progress with my batGuy the Dark Warrior videos, I'm setting up my sets the way I want them, but not sure if my lighting is that great, but I'm working on getting them right, also different camera angles are important to but that's not too much of a hassle, this is some screen shot of the BatCave, thought maybe yaw can give me some pointers on lighting.

Dude, that's some fancy batgear you got there

Lighting it? If it were me, here's the procedure :

Delete all existing Muvizu lights
Edit>Environment
Set Shadow Mode to Custom - Ambient Shadow OFF! Zero! Individual Shadows 100% Shadow Sharpness 100%

(Now at this point your PC might grind to a halt, so bring back the Shadow Sharpness down to a level that just allows you to still navigate around with the lights on.)

Adjust the ambient light to near zero (or zeros if using the new version with 2 sliders).
Create a Spotlight - edit it, and set it's Shadow properties (Merge) to Cast Individual Shadows. Normally you should set all lights to Cast Individual Shadows initially, until you see how it works out. Adding to the Ambient is useful sometimes, but never for your main light sources.

Now you can begin lighting it. No obvious light sources in your shots, so you'll have to decide what they would be, where they are, and what they're pointing at. Or you can do what Hollywood does and just slap lights everywhere until it looks pretty. Lighting it the same way as the films is something you could emulate, or just play with the spotlights until you get something that makes you happy (that's kinda what I do ). Stick some spots in, see how it looks in the cameras (coz that's all that matters) and go from there. Hope that helps some

Just to let every one know I decided to release the bat cave as an Set Asset, its on the Get asset page now, also I'm still producing my first Superguy Spoof video, and its coming along great, taking my time as I come up with some funny materials for the scripts, it's the first episode of many to come, and the title for the first video is "Throw of identity" how he finds out who he is, and I started the first spoof episode of The Dark Knight, called "You Missed in The Alley", something to do with the Penguin robbing some some poor ol sap,.
Ok I'm not finished just yet, to give you and Idea of all of the super heroes I'm planning on doing spoofs on, here is a picture of what I have plan.

This is just a few, more to come, the next in line is Spider man, here's a test shot, just seeing how good he looks to see if he will work.

ok now I'm finished.

Good Night Yaw!

I really like all of them... except Spider-Man. Spider-Man is my favorite character of all time, and seeing him so big and bulky is just wrong. He's small, wiry, and with the speed and agility of a Spider... Not the bulk of the Hulk...

I was waiting for someone to say that, yea your right about spider man, and I'm thinking of changing him, but the thing is, the Beefy character is the only one that uses the climbing action except for the women heros , and it was the only thing I could think of to get him to climb walls the way I want him to, maybe we should mention that they should add a slinder hero to the hero characters. also I don't like the standing idle for the small characters, the posture is way to wrong for spider man, they all have that sassy look when they stand that way, don't Spider Man would stand like that when he's talking to Mary Jane..lol, but I may change him to the small character, but gee's he's gona look funny!

cheers.

The 'small' characters can use Superhero > Idle to stand in a more appropriate pose.

Hi Every one, first I want to say I have a lot I'm working on,so when I post different things, don't mean I stop working on others, I'm such a big fan of Muvizu and have a lot of ideas I want to make and now I can, So putting that out of the way, back to the matter at hand, I just released two new videos in the gallery, Yoda's Advice on Beer, And Apologize to Lord Vader, two of my newest Star Wars Spoofs, Now I'm working on another titled "Luke I am your father" it takes place in Cloud City where luke loses his hand and Darth tells the truth, the set is being a butt right right now trying to get everything to stay still, but wants to bounce around after locking everything, but managed it out, here's a pic of the set, I'm trying to remember how it looked in the movie without looking at pictures.

this is the opening scene, not sure if I have too many clouds
