Problem after doing the upgrade help please Hi All I posted this a few days ago. Try this.

1. Right click on desktop icon
2. Select Properties
3. Edit "Target" Command Line
4. at end on line just add -dx9
5. Click save then Ok button

SAMPLE: "C:\Program Files\Muvizu Play\Binaries64\Muvizu.exe" -dx9

Even though you force a dx9 start Muvizu still loads dx11 if its set to dx11 in the options menu. If you look you'll see that Layers are available and working. Layers only work with dx11. Now to clarify this issue is only on laptop with Windows 10 and intel video as support said last week. Hope this helps

Insert Photo or Video in a Post Thanks Zig. I use Dropbox, guessing that will do. Now get back to work on movie. There will be a big box of ZOIDBERG snacks in it if you finish this year.

Insert Photo or Video in a Post Forgive my ignorance but how do I insert a photo into a post or reply to a post? I did look and can't seem to find answer.

20/08/15 reelase feedback So its not just me. My DirectX options don't show in the option menu either since this last update. But dx11 seems to be loaded as LAYERS would indicate. But on my Desktop all is normal(ish). Glad it worked for you. You can at least get some work done.

20/08/15 reelase feedback Hello Woz...
Even though you force a dx9 start Muvizu still loads dx11 if its set to dx11 in the options menu. If you look you'll see that Layers are available and working. Layers only work with dx11. Now to clarify this is an issue only on my laptop with Windows 10 and intel video as support said last week. On my desktop windows 10 and AMD video there is no problem. Muvizu loads as it should. Support still needs to sort this out as you say.

4/8/15 Release Bugs Hello All...
Jamie1 and/or Neil could we please have Muvizu Remember Windows PLACE & SIZE? I like others use dual monitors and it is VERY annoying to have to resetup our work space everytime. Thank You.

Windows 10 Update Issue HELP! MuvizuPlay+. Hello EEFilmz...

1. TASKBAR ICON IS NOT force loading DirectX 9. Just use the desktop icon (The one you edited) until we get a Final Release.

2. The reason for the maintenance releases every week (wishful thinking) is they are still working on this Update. It is not a Final Release Version yet. This is the best way for us to help work out the bugs.

Hope this helps

Windows 10 Update Issue HELP! MuvizuPlay+. Hey Zig...
not sure if you or anyone knows. But if you force load newest Muvizu (build 2015.08.05.01R) with DirectX 9 as I showed before and you have the FILE/OPTIONS/DIRECTX VERSION set to DirectX 11. The Layers work. I just double checked. Hope this helps.

2. Select Properties
3. Edit "Target" Command Line
4. at end on line just add -dx9
5. Click save then Ok button

Downloading Muvizu Hello Neighbors...
I want to let all know that if your having trouble downloading Muvizu with Google Chrome as I did I found that using ("Microsoft Edge" Windows 10) or ("Internet Explorer" Windows 8.1/10) seems to work without having to use the dreaded DOWNLOAD MANAGER.

4/8/15 Release Bugs Hello All...
I turned in a support ticket for a downloading issue that just started with Muvizu Update only. I can say that after testing installing last good version there is a DirectX issue. Old Muvizu installs and runs with DX9 but not DX11 on Windows 10. You get ( WozToons

Need rollerskates! Hi Neighbors... I downloaded this SketchUp 8 from SketchUp.com January 2015 just before it was removed. If anyone wants it or either of the Muvizu ASE exporters just ask.

Stop the spam! Perfect Quote Mysto. I think the Spammers should be booted from Muvizu. They know their spamming us. A weekend Moderator is a great idea too.

Issues with software Welcome to the Neighborhood Steve... allot of little issues went away after I bought Muvizu Plus. Besides higher resolution output your importing of 3D objects is wide open. As MrDrWho13 said use the 64 Bit version. I tested the 32 and 64 versions and it does make a difference. As I said I bought the Plus version and am glad I did. The price is a good one right now.

New Forum I think fazz68's last line would solve a few things.
1. Make fixing the software more of a priority for us current Muvizuers.
2. By doing (1) more of us would use these forums.

I also think with Digimania's new software release Muvizu has been put out of sight out of mind. (HOPEFULLY NOT FOR LONG)

Finding the right computer for Muvizu Hi Muviwho. if I may add a piece of advice. That laptop is nice but something important needs to be said... Getting a Hard Drive that has at least a 7200 RPM spindle speed instead of 5400 RPM will help ALLOT. Also Windows 7 as the minimum OS will be better for several multimedia speed and security reasons. I know lots of people want a Laptop for multimedia development but truth is you can get MUCH MORE POWER for LESS MONEY with a Desktop. Hope this helps.

Sincerely, BrianGray.
