Fake news? Why is this site still advertising products that it can't sell or support? Is this not false advertising?

Digimania has gone into administration I'd try ringing them on 00 44 141 582 0600 (in the UK) and get them to ring you back.

NEW IN THE MUVIZU STORE..... It's a nice model Witchy but the windows should really be more oval-shaped because currently it looks more like a train interior.
The only airliner that I know of with square windows was the early De Havilland Comet and they started crashing due to metal fatigue at the window corners. They had to replace them with round ones.
There's a good storyline for someone though

Things I'd like to see in Muvizu. You are quite right Clayster, I apologise for doubting the existence of your son.
But I would suggest that you send his siblings to a better educational institution. Unless they are keen on learning craft-based hobbies .

I agree wholeheartedly Clayster. Well put.

Another very useful post from Doby...oh wait a minute ...he hasn't made any so far.

My spidey sense tingles and tells me that the only people who agree with Clayster these days, are him and his imaginary son who is still at "Collage" (sic) . But thanks for the post....Dobyster. Big Grin

Silo 2 is on sale on Steam again. £14.71 at the moment.

It does tie you in to installing Steam, annoyingly. However it will run if your internet connection is down, you can just press Cancel, it is just a bit of a pain to have to go through the Steam start up each time.

Hi ! New year, new problems with SketchUp

I have had sketch Up 8 with Ziggymesh ASE exporter running perfectly fine in December, didn't used it since then but now that I'm back on it the exporter simply doesn't work. Like it is still recognized, still asks where I want to save my ASE file etc but when I click export, nothing happens, no ASE file anywhere to be found. Anyone had the same problem and fixed it ?

thanks !

Try with a simple Sketchup cube. If that works, then the model is the problem not the exporter. Check it isn't too big and complex e.g. with hidden geometry.

You only need to rotate the backdrop (case you are using a backdrop) or go to camera settings>colour> horizontal flip.

You have to use a second camera facing any character and assign mirror texture to that camera.

I haven't tried this, but wouldn't the resulting video need to be be horizontally flipped?

Wow... Primaveranz... am I interpreting the evidence correctly when I conclude that you wrote that standup routine then animated it?

Yes I did. But I was promised some beer if I did it, and that is always a great motivator. However, said booze never materialsed!

The following apology is from John H. Collins (aka: BigWally)

I wish to humbly apologize for anything I said untoward anyone who speaks in Scottish accents. My comment was a wayward attempt at humor and I have a high regard for the Scots. In fact, I am part Scottish. I have many Scottish friends. Once again, I humbly apologize.

need tutorial on basis dialog You need to Prepare an audio track then fill it with the sound either by importing or recording.

So Click on "Prepare".
Choose "Audio"
Choose "New"
Then press "Edit" and you will see "Import" and "Record" options.

TUTORIAL SERIES: SILO to MUVIZU I am finding a few inconsistencies between the Silo tutorials and the software.
E.g. Ctrl + C (copy) doesn't appear to work as shown, instead I have to use Ctrl + D (Duplicate) . Also if you subdivide a poly then use the Edit undo option (Ctrl + Z.) it doesn't work. I can see Silo will be powerful but certainly more complicated than Milkshape to get up and running.

MERRY CHRISTMAS! PatMarrNC wrote:
I know we have forum members from all over the world, people of different faiths and nationalities. I'll let anyone who celebrates a different season announce it for himself... but I celebrate Christmas, and as such I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Good for you, Pat. Personally I am Agnostic but in all my travels I never met anyone of any religion, who objects to people celebrating a "Merry Christmas". It does seem to be a uniquely American issue. Hopefully those poor PC souls who invented "Happy holidays" will see the error of their ways some day.
