Saving a project Hi Druid,

Can you please tell us which version of Muvizu are you running.
You can check the version in the "About" window.
Press the question mark symbol - top right and then select about. You should see something like MZASS-v1.0 build: 2013.04.18.01R (64-bit)

There was a known issue about saving sets, but we released a patch this morning that should fix it.

Cheers,
Marco

Time to say goodbye. Hello everyone,

Not really sure how to start this thread, but I can promise you that I'll try to make it short

Next week is going to be my last week here at Muvizu HQ.
Now that Muvizu: Play v1.0 is released, it's time for me to get back to the Games Industry and look for new challenges.

The last three years were amazing. I saw Muvizu improve, the community improve and the overall experience improve as well.
Let me say that you guys are the best community I ever had the pleasure to work with.

I really hope you guys continue to develop the excellent work you've been doing with Muvizu.

Thanks for making my job a lot easier. I'll keep en eye on you from time to time

I wish you all the best for you and your loved ones.
Good luck everyone and see you around.

All the best,
Marco

So much potential, so many bugs Noooooooo!!!! Ziggy, the COM Surrogate error!!!!!!!!!!

How I feel your pain. Yes I did have this error, making me a very grumpy miserable man

I did managed to sort it by uninstalling other codec packs, besides the Lagarith codec.
I even think I uninstall every single codec I had. The installed Lagarith and then the K-lite.
I can however confirm that installing this codec on top of other might create problems.
It has been months now since I had the last Surrogate error though.

I hope this helps Ziggy.

Cheers,
Marco

So much potential, so many bugs Hi ekholbrook,

I'm glad that things are getting sorted.

It seems the community is giving you a hand as well, which is good to see.
Definitely the codecs you installed and the Lagarith Lossless codec are the best to use. In my humble personal opinion

I hope you are having a better experience with Muvizu now.

Cheers,
Marco

So much potential, so many bugs Hello again ekholbrook,

Do you have any codecs installed?
If not I can recommend you one that will give you less problems, hopefully

Codecs can be a bit tricky and then cause you problems when you are trying to make a video.

Cheers,
Marco

So much potential, so many bugs Hi ekholbrook,

Sorry to hear that you having so much problems with Muvizu.

I'll try to help you stop those annoying crashes and issues.
Looking at your hardware details I see nothing wrong with it. Just a good machine.

So lets, get started.
Can you please take some screenshots of the errors / crashes and send it to bugs@muvizu.com
Please attach your nickname to the subject.

Also can you send us your DirectX details - Dxdiag.txt

Here's how you can generate it:
1. Click on Windos "START" button
2. Select the "run" option
3. Type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. Check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. Click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

Hopefully we will be able to gather details about these issues.

Cheers,
Marco

Fatal errors all the time Hi Ember,

I talked to the development team about this, but they need a little bit of more info.
Sorry about all of this, but hopefully we will be bale to sort it out.

Can you take a screenshot of the crash, so we can see the report that pops up?

Also, we are going to need details about your hardware. So we going to need you DirectX report.
Do to this please take the following steps:

1. From the desktop click: Start button > Run.
2. In the blank text field of the window that appears type “dxdiag” without the quotes. Press run or hit enter.
3. Another window should appear titled DirectX Diagnostic Tool. Near the bottom of the window click on “Save All Information…” A popup should appear with a progress bar, this may take a few minutes.
4. After it completes a dialogue should appear asking you where to save the file, I would recommend saving it to your desktop (automatically selected) with the default name and file type.
5. Email us the file to bugs@muvizu.com - reference: Ember

Thank you for your patience.

Cheers,
Marco

Fatal errors all the time Hi Ember,

I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with Muvizu.

Those errors seem to originated by a corrupted installer.
My best advice at this point is to download a new installer and make sure the connection is stable and that the download resumes fully.
Also, please make sure you video card drivers are updated to the latest version.

Please keep us posted.

Cheers,
Marco

movimento OGGETTO Ciao pantanik,

Purtroppo non dare a attivare e disattivare automaticamente la collisionedurante le riprese.
Ma è un buon suggerimento per una versione futura. Grazie.

Cordiali saluti,
Marco

Watermark: new terms of use Yes, it is per video.

I was trying to show that you can do the exact same thing you were doing with the previous versions.
And also, how you could set your work flow in a way so you don't pay for every test you need to make.

Thanks for your feedback.

Regards,
Marco

Watermark: new terms of use I think you missed the point here.

If you are still testing your set, just use the free rendering and when all is ready to go, use the option that allows the removal of the watermark.
You can still do the exact same thing you would in the previous versions - for free.

Once your work is done, if you pay once and don't change anything, you can still keep publish the same work over and over without making more payments.

You really should do your research before posting.
If you have any questions please let us know. We are here to help.

Regards,
Marco

Use unreal maps with Muvizu... Hi marietto2008,

You cannot create Unreal Engine maps using Muvizu.
The engine is the starting point, but the end product is not like the Unreal Tournament games or the UDK.

To create maps for those games you need to access the Editor, Unreal Tournament, Gears of Wars or the UDK will be what you are looking for.

Cheers,
Marco
