As you guys have probably guessed by now the voices for Tales from Zombietown are done by 2 guys, and occasionally we rope in someone for the odd part.
What we really need is people to fill future characters females/males/ possibly robots, and whatever else Dre504 comes up with...
Anyway if anyone is interested hit us up.

P.S this will probably be for season 2 moreso so it is still a while away , just wondering if their is any interest.

Thanks Muvizuers

Not sure my dulcet scottish tones could muster anything past "Haw, erra zombie ye wir ment tae be keepin edgie ya bam." The obligatory "Gies yer jaiket ya undeed radge." and "Terrific." But i'll give it a go if you like.

I'm on the same quest and just downloaded the MorphVOX Pro demo.
Their sample files sound good let's see if it works as well for me

I'll post my findings

All
I have Morphvox Pro and it is a pretty effective piece of software.

I would be willing to offer my "voice" (english accent only!)

guys i am in that too, i have tried a lot of programs: i have downloaded vcs voice changer but the problem is that the voice isnt stable, for instance when you choose a male voice and you are recording the voice changes all the time, i couldnt download the profesional version of morphvox (i dont know if someone could download it) , i have seen the videos of audacity (
and it seems that you can change your voice with this program (which is free) so i am going to test it tonight and ill tell you.

I am in the same boat as you re voice acting talent so if you need a gruff miserable English ( Sussex ), old fart in your films count me in. Big Grin

p.s. I can do moderately cheerful sometimes if you need that as well.

Changes in pitch etc are quite effective with audacity...timbre (male or female) is something I've not managed to crack yet...but I'm sure there must be a plug in for it somewhere.

Yip audacity is good for pitch change and also if you wish to speed up or slow down audio without changing pitch then go for tempo change.

Okie dokie,
Artpen, we will hit you up when its time.

Dylly , we currently use Audacity for split conversations , music etc.. will give it a go but the hardest to get is the female voice to work. Personal note , your a friggin master of creation.

Woztoons, i've heard talk of a grumpy old bastard next season, so yes i may need your grumpy Sussexness.

James your a crack up .... but guess what !! Stoney's surname is McBongwater so maybe you can be part of the clan McBongwater

As usual muvizuers are the best , you need help and they give it ..,. you guys all rule in our books

Well, I suppose I can join this wagon, too.

I can do some pretty good 'dumb guy' voices - American english. I must admit, I have no acting training, so my 'talent' at this is highly questionable and up for debate.

My trials with Morphvox are very satisfying and the use of their Voice Splitter plugin is an easy way of recording the text of an entiere conversation and morphing different sections of it into different voices.

Toonarama, are there any negatives that you have experienced while using this program ?

Many thanks

Please check out the voice of the police officer in my short the "The Jumper" or the husband in the picture frame of "Close Up." That's my voice, and if you have any needs, I can record it for a variety of character types. Thanks.
