@Doby. Earlier installations of muvizu give me better results .
2016.02 version with the xilisoft big wally settings,
to some passable degree worked for me just now.
I had an early version that worked like a dream but foolishly i uninstalled it .
So keep your old versions installed people.
also tried vdub with msoftmpeg4 and got successs with the 2016 muvizu.

This is a very annoying and perplexing situation.
I did this successfully a few weeks ago but now former procedures and files that did work no longer do!!
Spent hours last few days trying to find a solution but haven't been able.
Will keep at it as i have a need to sort this for a project also.
Something must work.

Thought changing the direct x 9 and 11 around might shine some light but it hasn't.
I have only one video that works still, but the properties just say it's an avi.
I will try with some older installs of muvizu to see if they behave differently...clutching at straws.
We can always give the screen a green colour and use chroma key in hitfilm i suppose.

What format does Muvizu accept?

If someone could tell me that or ffmpeg commands.

Hi Team,








I have bought the product today and received the license key. I tried it multiple times and received successfully upgraded message but watermarking of Muvizu kept on appearing on final video files. Every time I open the application it says product will expire in 7 days and whenever I enter the key the in upgrade it says product upgraded but remove water mark option remained disable.


I am getting the following error now after multiple trials. Please resolve asap. Please deactivate the previous key if required and provide new key to me as soon as possible. I have also uninstalled and install the 62 bit version.

yeah i tried to look at Dgifactors suggestion of using converter light and got the same result.

Have you followed the below instructions completely?

it has worked for me in the past

Load your video in.Choose "HD AVI" to convert to.
Expand your Profile to Advanced Profile SettingsUnder "Video Stream>Video" click the drop down menu and choose "Microsoft MPEG-4"Convert Voila! You're good to go
First, choose AVI for your converted video. On the left-hand side of the program, under Profile, click on the Video Codec and a list of codecs will appear. Change this to "Microsoft MPEG-4". Convert.

a) It tried to install a bunch of spamware on my computer

b) Same thing. Strip of glitter.


I didn't know which settings to use for export so I just chose HD AVI.

If someone knows the console commands for ffmpeg, I could do it that way, or at least what exact format these .AVI need to be I could research it.

Windows 10 upgrade = no Muvizu Play+

I upgraded my computer from windows 7 to windows 10 and now Muvizu wont recognize that I have a paid version of Muvizu play +.
I cant even load videos I did prior to the upgrade. Any suggestions please?

Thank you for the response and for the links. Some great content at the links.


Posting this so that others having this issue will be aware.

My installation has been activated. It had nothing to do with my computer. Somehow meshmellow was able to do something on their end that made the activation work. Their initial responses to me were to run as administrator, disable virus protection, re-install, install as administrator and run as administrator. None of that worked and was a waste of time.
After they did whatever it is they did on THEIR end, I simply ran the program normally (not as administrator) and entered the activation code and it worked.

It is really apparent that meshmellow does not have it's act together. Thankfully there is a user community for support of this.
It's a shame that legitimate development on this software has not continued.

E2 means Muvizu can't write the licence file to your Muvizu install directory. Are there any other reasons on your computer which could cause this?

Also be aware that you have 10 activation attempts before you hit W2 and need to contact support to have your licence re-activated

Is there anyone in the user community that can help?

I have already followed the wiki (

I have also uninstalled, rebooted, disabled my anti-virus protection, re-installed as administrator, run as administrator and re-attempted the activation. Still returns the E2 error.


Anyone go through this and get it resolved?


Reaching out to support at meshmellow.cn has been futile. They suggested I run as administrator - even though my message to them was that I had already run as administrator. Seems to be a canned response.


Anyone? I have feeling I just wasted $69

Unable to activate my license. E2 error.
I tried rebooting and running as administrator - no difference.

What is the secret to activating a license?
